Camp Farwell for Girls, Newbury, Vermont, USA
Camp Farwell is the first girls sleepaway summer camp in Vermont, the first girls overnight summer camp in New England and the first girls summer camp in the United States. Founded 1889.
Situated in the Green Mountain State on Halls Lake, our magnificent 100-acre site offers a wonderful location for a seemingly endless variety of activities - from riding to water sports, from music and dance to team endeavors and individual pursuits.
Campers choose their own activities each week and follow that schedule Monday through Friday. There are five activity periods in a typical day--three in the morning and two in the afternoon. Some activities are grouped by age, some by ability and others have a random grouping.
Prices for 2020: US$ 4,325 for 2 weeks; US$ 5,615 for 3 weeks

This season, over 75 of our international students are participating in fall sports! Athletics gives international students the opportunity to make connections with local students, become a part of our greater community, and learn important soft skills like leadership and teamwork. Today we offer more than 50 teams at many different levels, and all students are encouraged to get fit and have fun by joining a team—whether they are new to a sport or a potential New England champion. Many of our coaches also serve as faculty, which allows them to teach and coach through a holistic lens.
