At the Global Gateway Program, students receive English language support and academic courses taught by University of Vermont faculty. The program also offers help with cultural adjustment and developing effective study skills, and provides the support services international students need when they study away from home.
Global Gateway Center Facilities
Marsh-Austin-Tupper complex at the University of Vermont The Global Gateway Center, as well as student accommodation, will be located in the Marsh Austin Tupper (MAT) building. The MAT public space has been recently renovated, featuring floor to ceiling views of the Green Mountains, fireplaces, bright classrooms and event spaces that are for use by students. The Global Gateway Center includes:
Capacity for over 100 international students with dedicated classrooms for English language preparation and state-of-the-art interactive whiteboards. Teacher and administrative offices and conference rooms and break-out room. The Global Gateway Center is located in the Athletic Campus area of the University of Vermont, in very close proximity to housing and dining facilities.

Global Gateway Program: Undergraduate Year 1
Designed to help international students make an easy transition into American university life, this program is ideal for students wanting a bachelor's degree from the University of Vermont.
The 1-term Global Gateway Program facilitates a smooth continuation of year 1, and the 2-term Global Gateway Program facilitates a smooth progression into Year 2 of a bachelor's degree, and helps international students fully integrate into American university life while enjoying the complete University of Vermont experience.
